Writing Contest - Kendo - 12-24-2007

This is an idea I came up with. So, it goes like this:I make a short description of a moment in a story, you make a story which includes the moment in the description. Sound confusing? Well, I'll explain:

First, I type something like this:

A fisure appeared out of nowhere...luckilly, the two escaped in one piece.

You could expand it to something like this:

Two people-Jamie and Tom-were walking through the valley yadah yadah yadah, then suddenly a fissure appeared in the ground yadah yadah yadah, then a gargoyle came out of it and the boys were scared half to death yadah yadah yadah, they found a sword, slayed the gargoyle, and walked away yadah yadah yadah.....

You may NOT fidget with details, such as saying there was only 1 person caught in the fissure when there were really 2. But you MAY add details. In fact, that's the whole point of this contest:adding details to expand a simple statement. After somebody wins, they will have to make the next few sentences to expand on and judging for that contest. If anyone has any questions, please post them. And yes, it's OK to say that you won in your siggy. And you may edit stories, as long as you do it before the deadline. Preferrably, the story should either be short or have a "To Be Continued". If you win, you might just consider writing a fanfic!
Here's the current contest:

The lady straightened. "But I don't even know who you are...or where you live, or anything about you. Let me see your I.D......"

Hmm...I think this one's gonna be interesting. Current contest ends at December 28,4:35 Central time. So, let's get Contest#1 under way!

EDIT:Nobody's on these forums. Think they're going to die soon? I'm postponing this contest until I detect some activity.
